The Maker
Born in Suzhou,
made with heart
Growing up surrounded by the silk-road heritage of Suzhou, I was always drawn to beautiful things made by hand. My grandmother strung jade beads for her neighbors; I watched her for years before I understood what she was really doing — she was making people feel held.
Luminae began in my apartment in 2019 with a bag of crystals and a spool of silk thread. Now, each piece still passes through my hands before it reaches yours.
I source every stone personally — from markets in Yunnan, from trusted suppliers in Brazil and Madagascar. Quality is never sacrificed for speed.
